  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BUILD A HOUSE?
    On average, for a 4,000 square feet home, it takes 12 months from demolition to occupancy. Is it guaranteed? ABSOLUTELY! We stand behind what we promise at the time of signing the contract. NO EXCUSES!
  • HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BUILD A NEW CUSTOM HOME?
    It is hard to estimate a price per square foot for a custom home. But to get an idea, $300/sq.ft is a good starting point. In a Custom Built Home, it is easy to lose sight of the budget. That is why, before we start building, we do a cost analysis and come up with a price schedule to respect your budget and maintain the neighbourhood standards.
  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO OBTAIN BUILDING PERMITS?
    It can take anywhere between 2 to 12 months. Every municipality is different. You also need to consider whether or not you need to apply for minor variances through the local Committee of Adjustment.
  • HOW DO YOU FIND THE PERFECT LOT?
    Before we start looking, we hold a consultation meeting and go over all your needs. Based on the client's preferences, we look into different neighbourhoods, different lot sizes, and we check local zoning by-laws to make sure we don't run into surprises.
  • IS IT CHEAPER TO BUY A NEW HOME OR TO BUILD A NEW HOME?
    Generally, building a new home is cheaper than buying one. However, the Real Estate Market has its fluctuations and there might be times when it is cheaper to buy a new home in some neighbourhoods. This is something we study before you enter into a Purchase Agreement.
  • WILL THERE BE SURPRISES?
    In any renovation, it is common to run into unexpected costs. However, in New Home Builds, it is less likely to encounter surprises that compromise the budget. With proper management and detailed analysis, we will minimize the risk.
